A local authority based in North-West London is seeking a Senior Childcare Lawyer on a permanent basis.The salary on offer for the role is between £55,155-£61,617 per annum.The contractual hours are 36 per week and this is a hybrid role requiring office attendance 3 days per week.The position:The Senior Childcare Lawyer will be required to support management whilst also managing their own caseload.You will have experience dealing with the following:PLO matters, Adoption, Care proceedings, Discharge of care, Contact issues, Non accidental injury, Applications for care, supervision, emergency protection, recovery, secure accommodation, child assessment and placement orders.The person:A current practising certificate (either as a Barrister, Solicitor or Legal Executive) A can-do attitude with the confidence to lead a team.
Strong experience in all matters relating to children's social services law.
Ability to anticipate problems and solve them accordingly.
