Senior Buyer An exciting opportunity with a leading employer in the local area has just become available.
Due to continued growth our client is actively looking to recruit for a Senior Buyer to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing good working relationships with suppliers to ensure parts and partials required for projects are available.
The role Create and maintain excellent working relationships with suppliers Conduct supplier negotiations and agree price structure for parts and materials Ensure products procured meet the required specifications and are delivered within lead time agreed Attend weekly meetings and provide updates regarding any procurement issues Analyse cost parameters against budgets for all purchases Manage and monitor stock levels ensuring required quantities of parts are readily available Liaise with different departments across the business regarding their procurement needs Receiving quotes and updating prices files Attend project meetings Other relevant duties Essential Criteria Minimum 3 years experience in a procurement role Excellent negotiation skills Ability to manage and prioritise workload Experience in procuring electrical and mechanical products Good communicator and positive can-do attitude Experience in working with an ERP/MRP system What you will receive Full-time permanent role Competitive salary Career progression A list of other employee benefits What you need to do now This truly is a great role, if youre interested in this role, click apply now to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now on Skills: Procurement Purchasing Buying Supply Chain Negotiating
