About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst who will play a key role in driving financial performance across the organization.
You will be responsible for conducting complex financial, statistical, and analytical studies; preparing comprehensive financial analysis reports and supporting decision-making within their assigned business units.
This role requires a highly analytical individual with a deep understanding of financial analysis and strategic business insights.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with business units to develop annual financial and operating plans, including budgeting and rolling forecasts.
Produce ad hoc analyses, projections, reports, and presentations to meet the needs of the business.
Partner with commercial teams to support sales initiatives, pricing strategy, new channel expansion, new product development, promotional and end-to-end costing analysis across the UK and EU markets.
Contribute to revenue growth management and supply chain cost improvements.
Monitor and analyse critical financial metrics, including trade spend, product margins, labour costs, capital expenditure, and SG&A, ensuring alignment with business performance goals.
Create and deliver monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations for business leaders.
Conduct benchmarking and business model analysis to identify performance gaps and opportunities.
Acts as a key liaison between Finance and business units, translating financial data into actionable strategies for business growth and cost optimization.
Identify financial risks and work collaboratively with business units to develop effective mitigation plans.
Mentor team members in identifying process improvements that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting, planning and analysis.
What we're looking for :
Proven experience as a business analyst, ideally in FMCG environments Expertise in gathering, analysing and presenting complex data, along with preparing detailed financial reports and projections.
Strong business acumen and exceptional attention to detail in financial analysis.
Proficiency in SAP and PowerBI Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including business leaders, commercial teams, and other functional departments.
A calm and focused approach to working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
A hands-on problem-solver, who is adaptable to change and willing to take the initiative in driving business improvements.
Relevant accounting qualification (e.g.
