Lloyd's are recruiting for a Senior Associate, FC&C - Regulatory Change on a 12 Month FTC (Fixed Term Contract) .
This is an excellent opportunity to support delivery of regulatory change programmes/Lloyd's strategic priorities by supporting project management activities in relation to specific regulatory projects.
You will support the delivery of FC&C objectives through active participation in the execution and enhancement of scheduled activities (e.g.
Risk Assessments).
Supporting leadership within the FC&C team to understand Financial Crime and Compliance risks to both the Society of Lloyd's and the wider Lloyd's market by performing key analysis, agreed business as usual tasks, and providing input to management information - escalating information and issues in line with FC&C governance Principal Accountabilities Establishing infrastructure for projects Establishing and monitoring milestones and key deliverables Supporting stakeholder management, e.g.
via provision of briefing.
Ad hoc projects, drawing on technical expertise from other Corporation departments as required Ensure the identification and management of relevant regulatory or financial crime risks, reporting to Lloyd's Risk governance structure as appropriate.
Support the identification of systemic issues and highlight those issues to the Market (via the appropriate channel) and/or internal Lloyd's stakeholders as appropriate.
Any decisions which may adversely affect Lloyd's licences or reputation, including putting at risk Lloyd's credibility with regulators, or which could result in stated risk appetite being exceeded.
Any activity or decision relating to financial crime regulation must be referred to the relevant manager and/or Head of function.
Skills Knowledge and Experience Insurance experience and/or knowledge of the Lloyd's market Experience of operating procedures and controls.
Experience of organisational administration Experience of working with process and operational demands Organisational capabilities Knowledge of Lloyd's organisation, functions and processes advantageous.
Knowledge of the dynamics of Lloyd's and insurance business and markets would be advantageous.
Knowledge and experience in the design, implementation and management of effective risk management frameworks advantageous.
