The Company A young, ambitious and fast growing media and events business serving the finance sector. They have a supportive, inclusive and collaborative culture as well as a very rewarding commission structure!
You will be joining the business at a very exciting time, as they have just launched a new publication (website and events about to launch) which has been extremely successful. Therefore they need someone to join the business to take ownership the revenues for this new brand.
The role of Senior Account Manager / Sales Manager role The purpose of your role will be to take this newly established brand (which is read by marketers within the finance sector) out to market, approaching new and relevant businesses to sell them print and digital advertising, webinars, award sponsorship, video content, exhibition space and more.
Naturally to begin with it will be a lot of new business as it's a new magazine/website, but you will continue to account manage all of those clients who you win business from.....and therefore will see more of a balance of new business v account management over time.
There is no people management to begin with, but naturally over time, as the team grows, you will likely manage any new recruits which join the brand.
