Job Description Step Teachers are working with a school in Cromer to find a qualified SEND Teacher.
The school is eager to find a SEND Teacher who is organised, creative and ready to engage their students with fun, play-based learning.
They should have experience working with students age 14-18 delivering Vocational courses , This is a long-term role which will start Feb 2025.
SEND Teacher– Role: \n Focus on delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of Secondary students.
\n Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
\n Ability to assess students, monitor their progress and provide constructive feedback.
\n Communicate effectively with parents/carers and other members of staff throughout the school.
\n Send Teacher will receive MPS + SEN Allowance \n SEND Teacher – Requirements: \n Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
\n Strong knowledge of the Secondary school curriculum.
\n Recent experience as an SEND Teacher in a Secondary School.
\n Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
\n A genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
\n Experience in delivering Functional Skills courses, Geography, Careers or RSHE would be favourable \n Why Step Teachers?
