They are seeking a hard-working, enthusiastic and passionate teaching assistant to join their close-knit team.
About the role: The role of a teaching assistant is to support students both academically and socially-emotionally.
You will provide general classroom support, including one-to-one assistance and small group interventions as needed.
As a teacher assistant, you will also help the classroom teacher in lesson planning, resource gathering and activity set-up.
When working with young people, you have a duty to safeguard and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students.
Due to the nature of the students, there may be incidents where you encounter challenging behaviour.
Therefore, you must be confident in managing these scenarios in a calm and patient manner.
About You: Experience: Previous experience working with children in the UK, whether in early years, primary or secondary education.
SEN knowledge: A strong understanding of special educational needs and strategies to support young people Personal qualities: Resilient, adaptable, hardworking and possess a good sense of humour.
Professional growth: A willingness to develop your knowledge and skills further.
Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing plans at short notice This role is perfect for university students, experienced TA's looking for a new challenge or anyone wanting to work around their current schedule.
You will be working term time only , Monday - Friday , between the hours of 08:30 - 15:30.
