SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Swanwick Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour (Depending on experience)  Job Type: Part/Full-time  Start Date: Immediate  Are you enthusiastic about helping children with special educational needs (SEN) succeed?
GSL Education are seeking a caring and driven SEN Teaching Assistant to become part of a fantastic school in Swanwick .
You will be key to creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere that empowers every child to achieve their best.

Responsibilities: As an SEN Teaching Assistant , you will: Support children with special educational needs in their learning and personal development.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement tailored support plans.
Assist in creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with a variety of needs.
Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour to support individual learning goals.
Promote positive behaviour and a safe learning space for all students.
Requirements: To succeed in this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you should have: A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
Previous experience working with children with additional needs (desirable but not essential).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach to working with children.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or the willingness to apply for one.
