Your Role: Inspiring & Personalised Teaching: You'll work across a variety of classrooms in the heart of Teesside and Darlington, tailoring your teaching to support individual students with SEND.
With the help of experienced SEN teaching assistants, you'll deliver personalised interventions that help children reach their targets and achieve the goals in their Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Creating Positive Learning Environments: You'll manage classroom behaviour with care and understanding, following the school's behaviour management strategies to create a calm and productive environment where every child can learn and thrive.
Safeguarding & Well-Being: You'll be dedicated to the safety and well-being of your students, following the school's safeguarding procedures and ensuring that every child is supported and protected.
Engaging & Hands-On Learning: You'll guide children to explore and enjoy the curriculum through a wide variety of learning opportunities, both inside and outside the classroom, sparking their curiosity and passion for learning.
The Ideal Candidate: You are passionate about helping children with SEND and believe every child deserves the chance to succeed.
You hold a recognised teaching qualification and have experience working with SEND students.
You're patient, empathetic, and committed to providing the best possible support for children, regardless of their individual needs.
You're confident in adapting your teaching style to support the diverse needs of each child in your care.
You are eligible to work in the UK.
