Job Title: Art Teacher Location: Middlesbrough Primary Industry: Education and Training Job Duties: Design and deliver engaging and creative art lessons to students, catering to their diverse learning styles and abilities.
Create and implement a comprehensive art curriculum that aligns with national standards, ensuring students receive a well-rounded education in art.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development in art.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to express themselves creatively and explore their artistic potential.
Organise and supervise art projects and exhibitions, collaborating with colleagues and students to showcase the students' work and talents.
Communicate and collaborate with parents to support students' learning and development in art.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Enhanced DBS check.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in art education.
Knowledge and Skills: Extensive knowledge of art history, various artistic techniques, and the ability to incorporate them into lessons.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and inspire students.
Strong organisational and time management skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications: All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
