SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant Mortimer Common, Reading (West Berkshire) Childcare qualifications - preferable A Mortimer Common, Reading (West Berkshire) school (primary) is seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in a child's education.
Position Details: Location: Mortimer Common, Reading (West Berkshire) (easily commutable from Abingdon, Oxford, Didcot, Faringdon, and surrounding areas).
Pay: £83.50 - £90 per day.
Hours: Term-time only, with potential for training and development.

About the Role: The SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant will provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs, ensuring they can fully access the curriculum and thrive in the classroom.
The students you will work with may have a range of needs, including autism spectrum conditions, speech and language difficulties, sensory processing challenges, or social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Your role will involve fostering independence, building confidence, and adapting learning activities to suit their individual requirements.
The ideal candidate will have: At least three years of experience in a similar role and/or a Level 2/3/4 Teaching Assistant or childcare qualification.
A compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
Strong communication skills to liaise with teachers, parents, and professionals.
