SEMH Teacher - Primary Stretford Full-Time ASAP £600-£900 Per Week (PAYE - No Umbrella Company) This well respected SEMH setting is based in Trafford is looking to recruit a SEMH Teacher - Primary on a full-time basis to cover across the curriculum.
This specialist setting caters for primary aged learners with SEMH & Complex Needs; most students are on the autism spectrum with speech, language and communication needs.
Strong Senior Leaders have created a calm, structured learning environment where their students thrive.
Small specialist classes are well staffed and resourced throughout the setting.
There is an expectation that the ideal SEMH Teacher - Primary covers a varity of subjects within the primary curriculum.
As a SEMH Teacher - Primary in a SEMH School you'll be expected to: Teach subjects across the primary curriculum; Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment.
Have a strong understanding of SEMH and Complex Needs Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation.
Maintain discipline.
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupil's development.
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area.
Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
To apply the candidate must have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching secondary aged student Able to provide Referees.
An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one) Eligibility to work in the UK.
Experience in the education and training sector.
