Position: Security Officer Hours: 36 hours over 3 night shifts per week Transport: Access to a vehicle or excellent transport links Requirements: Must possess a valid SIA licenceJob OpportunityWork primarily within the gatehouse, signing visitors in/out as well as lorriesCarry out daily site patrols, focusing on health and safety, security and fault findingEnsuring compliance with government regulationsAssist in an emergency i.e.
fire evacuation and conduct staff search where requiredAlways maintain an alert and vigilant approach, to ascertain any potential threats or changes within the work environment and take the appropriate steps to reduce disruption, loss or damageMaintain accurate log/record of all visitors, staff, contractors, activities, couriers, and incidentsThe role of Security Officer ensures the safety and security of customers, employees, premises, and property whilst maintaining and adding to the overall experience of the customerEssential SkillsA valid SIA Licence.Ability to travel to site (no further than 30 miles commute).Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, and weekends.Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history (enhanced screening required).Proficient in written and speaking English language.Professional and customer focussed individual with IT literacy (Microsoft office suite).DE&ISecuritas is an all-inclusive employer, and we encourage individuality within our company.
