Science Teacher - Specializing in Biology Location: Stockport Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent Start Date: Immediate Are you passionate about biology and eager to inspire the next generation of scientists?
Our partner secondary school in Stockport is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher with a specialization in Biology.

Your Role: Teach Engaging Biology Lessons: Deliver well-structured and dynamic Biology lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4, making complex concepts accessible and exciting.
Promote Scientific Inquiry: Encourage students to ask questions, explore the natural world, and develop a deeper understanding of biological processes.
Collaborate with the Science Department: Work closely with fellow science teachers to design and implement an innovative and practical science curriculum.
Utilize Practical Experiments: Incorporate hands-on experiments and practical demonstrations to enhance students' learning experiences.
Support Student Progress: Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to help them achieve their potential.
Contribute to Extracurricular Activities: Get involved in science clubs, school trips, and STEM-related events to further enrich the students' educational experience.
What We're Looking For: Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification in Science, with a strong focus on Biology.
Passion for Teaching: A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to nurturing student interest in science.
Strong Communication Skills: The ability to convey complex biological concepts in an engaging and understandable way.
