Job summary We are currently looking to recruit a School Nurse Assistant to join our innovative, enthusiastic and dynamic School Nursing team.
The post is all year round.
Main duties of the job You will deliver high quality service provision that promotes and improves school health and addresses inequalities for children and young people aged between 5-19 years of age.
Working within a skill mixed team to facilitate a culture of learning and reflective practice.
As well as building positive working relationships with other service providers, to ensure a 'Think Family Approach' is offered to all.You will be offered an induction programme, mentorship and a supportive environment, in which to work.

Desirable NVQ 2, above or equivalent experience in a health or social care setting.
Care certificate.
Knowledge, Training & Experience Essential Previous experience of working with children, young people, and families.
Desirable Knowledge of the Healthy Child Programme.
Knowledge of safeguarding.
Experience of working in a community setting.
Experience of working within School Health.
Skills & Abilities Essential Able to communicate effectively.
Ability to communicate with children and young people appropriately.
Ability to work as a member of a multi professional team.
IT skills.
Good organisational abilities.
Full driving licence, access to own car and ability to work across the Township.
Desirable Able to manage own diary and caseload.
