ROLE: The Salesforce Release Manager will be responsible for the smooth deployment of Salesforce applications and updates within an organisation. You will play a key role in ensuring that changes are deployed efficiently and aligned with business objectives. With knowledge of agile methodologies, processes, and frameworks, the Release Manager will play a critical role in the planning, development, and execution of the release plan. You will be using source control systems (e.g., GitHub), release branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines for release management and deployment across environments.
SKILLS REQUIRED: Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, and Apex code.Experience with Salesforce deployment tools (e.g., Azure DevOps (Preferred), Azure Pipelines (Preferred), Azure Repos (Preferred), SonarQube, Azure Test Plans (Preferred), Gearset, Salesforce DX, Change Sets, ANT Migration Tool).Experience setting up development orgs and data seeding (OwnBackup).Experience with Branching Strategy tools (e.g., Github, Bitbucket).Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple releases simultaneously.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for Salesforce.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is a plus.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
