Sales Training Manager

My client is looking for a Commercial Sales Trainer in a newly created role.
This position will join the L&D team but focus on delivering sales training in order to directly increase sales revenue.

My client operates within the aviation sector.
This role can be based in either Gatwick or London.

Sales Trainer – Commercial Charter Team Are you a dynamic and results-driven sales training expert?
Do you have the passion and expertise to empower sales teams with the skills and confidence to excel in a competitive market?

In this role, you'll leverage your sales and brokering expertise to design, deliver, and refine impactful training programs that enhance the performance of our Commercial Charter teams across the UK/Europe, RoW, and North America.
With a strong focus on sales process mastery, CRM optimization, and behavioural excellence, you'll help our teams achieve new heights.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver Sales Mastery : Develop and deliver tailored training programs that focus on sales techniques, brokering best practices, and client engagement strategies.
Empower Teams with Tools : Collaborate with the Senior Applications Support Specialist to provide comprehensive training on CRM systems and booking tools, ensuring teams can effectively manage pipelines and close deals.
Custom Training Solutions : Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify skills gaps and design practical, targeted solutions that drive measurable sales results.
Behavioural Excellence : Partner with Talent and L&D specialists to integrate behavioural and interpersonal skills training, enhancing the overall client experience.
Onboarding Sales Professionals : Lead the training and onboarding process for new commercial hires, ensuring they hit the ground running with confidence and competence.
Evaluate and Improve : Regularly assess training effectiveness by gathering feedback and tracking sales performance metrics, using insights to refine and enhance programs.
Role requirements: 5+ years of experience in a training role, with deep knowledge of sales and brokering processes.
Demonstrated success in designing and delivering sales-focused training programs that drive results.
Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
Experience with CRM systems, ideally D365, and an understanding of sales automation tools.
Proven ability to coach and inspire individuals to perform at their best.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
