About the Role As Project Director, you will be accountable for the safe, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of projects that meet client requirements and key performance indicators.
You will oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring that they align with business strategies, are adequately resourced, and that all delivery risks are understood and mitigated.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will execute comprehensive mitigation plans throughout the project lifecycle.
Additionally, you will mentor Project Managers and Construction Managers, supporting their professional development and progression.
This role is pivotal in driving excellence in project delivery and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Include: Delivering end-to-end project risk management through the effective implementation of the project delivery system across the entire project lifecycle for Zinfra Projects and Infrastructure.
Managing the ZPI Portfolio governance and assurance process by supporting projects through the gated lifecycle and completing project reviews across the portfolio.
Developing a pool of high-performing Project Managers through coaching, training, and mentoring the ZPI PM pool.
Achieving project and portfolio financial targets.
Achieving or improving resource utilization targets.
Minimizing margin write-downs through effective risk management.
Determining key stakeholders within the business and developing relationships to achieve results.
Understanding customer requirements and expectations and ensuring that projects are set up to deliver accordingly.
About You To be selected for interview, your resume will need to demonstrate that you have an extensive Project Management track record delivering successful infrastructure projects.
You excel in the management of core project management disciplines, as well as in the broad visionary aspects of project development and execution.

Key Skills Engineering or Business Degree and project management qualifications.
Proficient in managing engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
Demonstrated capability in risk management practices.
Proven track record of achieving results through strong influencing and relationship skills.
Ability to build, manage, and lead high-performance, outcome-oriented teams.
