LANXESS UK is currently seeking strong, motivated, and talented individuals with the appropriate sales and technical experience for the position of Sales Manager - BU Liquid Purification Technologies (LPT BU).
Location: LANXESS UK, home-based set up Main Responsibilities: Independently foster BU's growth (profit, profitability, and volume) by managing existing and finding, evaluating and acquiring new business / customers according to BU strategy.
Manage sales activities of different global accounts Management of existing customers in UK and Ireland: independent commercial and technical consultation (implementation of commercial terms, introduction of new products / technologies, increase share of business, management of complaints, secure on time payment) Acquisition of new customers in UK & Ireland: independently find, evaluate and acquire new customers in accordance with BU strategy regarding applications, products, price & volume strategy Competitor monitoring: observe and report on competitor activities regarding pricing, strategic focus (products, applications, geographical), material availability, and personal set-up at single accounts as well as generally in the market Set up and execute Global account strategy in alignment with Sales Directors (Regional and Global) Coordinate Tech-Days/Workshops at key existing and new customers Knowledge and Experience: Master Degree in Chemistry, Degree in science, Engineering or comparable experience Minimum 5 years of successful sales activities in the chemical industry or in related industries Candidates with knowledge of the Battery/incl.
recycling/ and Lithium extraction technologies are preferred Intensive travel activities within UK, Ireland and internationally Excellent communication and presentation skills Result oriented working style For us, talent matters, we welcome everyone who commits to our values.
