We're looking for a dedicated safeguarding and Attendance lead to join our supportive team at Wishmore Cross Academy.
You're someone who'll be able to: To monitor and report on whole-school attendance data, using data to identify key areas of concern.
You will be able to work closely with pupils, staff, parents and carers to reduce levels of absence, and act appropriately when persistent absence becomes a safeguarding issue.

You'll provide invaluable support to delivering an excellent education to every child, in every classroom, every day.
You're someone who has: A strong background in a school environment, including experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or Deputy DSL.
Proven track record in identifying and implementing effective interventions to improve student attendance.
The ability to support students, staff, and families in creating a safe and engaging educational atmosphere.

Wishmore Cross Academy is part of Lift schools, Wishmore Cross is a special school in Chobham, Surrey, for boys aged 7 to 16 years who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
We admit up to 82 pupils which means class sizes are small and we work very closely with our pupils to ensure each day the pupils encounter a wide range of experiences inside and outside the classroom.
