Job summary An opportunity has arisen to work as a Band 5 Physiotherapist based in North Wales.This advert is for the Central Area of BCUHB (Conwy and Denbighshire) where all core rotations are 4 months and cover both acute (Ysbyty Glan Clwyd) and community hospital settings - these include MSK, COTE, Neuro, Stroke, T&O, Paediatrics, Community, and Respiratory.
The Band 5's will join a large supportive innovative team.The physiotherapy service in BCUHB offers a whole career pathway to Band 8C.
Service improvement and development is encouraged and all staff have access to regular supervision and training.Applications are welcomed from both new and existing Band 5 Physiotherapists.This is an opportunity to work in large established and supportive team in a beautiful part of the UK.Please note that this is a 7 day working contract, staff will be supported to participate in the respiratory on-call rota.
Main duties of the job To assess and treat patients from a designated caseload, some may have complex physical and psychological problems.To provide a diagnosis and plan and deliver an individualised treatment programme.To hold responsibility for own caseload working with out direct supervision.To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.To ensure a high standard of care for each patient working with patients, families or carers, multi-agency teams and disciplines involved.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
