Highly skilled in both mechanical and electrical functions Minimum of 3 years facilities maintenance experience required Opportunity to work in a dynamic environment in Oxford What you'll do: As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the smooth operation of our client's commercial buildings.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include ensuring all works are carried out in line with health and safety policies, responding to and escalating maintenance issues, developing preventative maintenance schedules, and repairing and refurbishing plant equipment.
You will also be responsible for managing site services equipment across the 8000 sq ft site.
Ensure all works are completed in accordance with H&S policies & procedures Strong leadership qualities to oversee and manage your small team of maintenance engineers.
Respond to, escalate, record and complete reactive, planned & preventative maintenance across the site ensuring it is fully compliant and meets strict regulations Complete & develop PPM schedules on full range of facilities and equipment within the distribution center Repair and refurbish plant and equipment in most efficient manner to minimise downtime Carry out remedial works arising from inspections eg.
LOLER examinations What you bring: The ideal candidate for this Facilities Maintenance Engineer role brings a wealth of experience and technical skills to the table.
With at least three years' experience in facilities maintenance under your belt, you have developed a deep understanding of both mechanical and electrical functions.
You are computer literate and possess an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
A FLT driving license would be advantageous but is not essential.
