Risk Manager

Location: Aldermaston We are seeking a Risk Manager to work within the Project Controls team.
The role involves supporting a programme of work with a focus on maintaining a monthly business rhythm.
This onsite position entails collaborating with project managers, implementing risk controls, and managing systems and risk meetings.
Responsibilities include producing reports for monthly review board meetings, advising on best practices, and maintaining an updated risk register.
The role requires proven experience in risk management, along with proficiency in using Active Risk Management (ARM) software to effectively support project controls and ensure accurate risk tracking and reporting.
Key accountabilities: Lead and manage risk, opportunity and issue management.
Deliver consolidated view of the total risk exposure for relevant projects and programmes within area of deployment.
Embed risk, opportunity and issue process and drive reporting cadence.
Conduct assessments to define and analyse possible risks.
Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
Apply risk management methodologies and risk analysis tools.
Generate and maintain programme &/or project risk registers as required.
Provide risk modelling including programme and cost modelling, as required, using quantitative risk assessment tools and techniques.
Actively manage risk and opportunity mitigation actions and burndown.
Create contingency plans to manage crises.
Key Requirements: Proven experience in risk management.
Proficiency in using Active Risk Management (ARM) software.
