Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?
We're seeking a dedicated and dynamic SENDCo to join an esteemed partner school of ours and lead the provision of exceptional support and guidance for students with diverse learning needs.
As the new SENDCo, you will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating the teaching of SEND within the school community.
You'll work closely with teachers, support staff, and external specialists to ensure that every student receives personalized support tailored to their unique strengths and challenges.
Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs), facilitating accommodations in the classroom, and fostering an inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed.
In addition to managing day-to-day operations, you'll have the opportunity to disseminate good practice in SEND across the school.
Through professional development sessions, collaborative planning meetings, and ongoing support, you'll empower staff to implement evidence-based strategies and interventions that meet the diverse needs of the students.
You'll also be responsible for setting up systems for identifying, assessing, and reviewing SEND.
By establishing clear protocols and procedures, you'll ensure that students are accurately identified, comprehensively assessed, and provided with appropriate support and accommodations.
As the new SENDCo & key liaison between the school leadership team, governing body, and parents/guardians, you'll play a vital role in communicating the effectiveness of the SEND provision.
