About the Role As a senior member of the quality team, the regional Head of Quality is responsible for ensuring and maintaining a high-quality student experience leading to outstanding achievement, attainment and progression outcomes for all students at their assigned centres.

This role ensures that students and practitioners with direct contact with students are put at the centre of all decision making.
It is a role that empowers a culture of constant improvement in teaching, learning and assessment practices by being an inspirational leader who builds strong working relationships across their assigned centres and the broader organisation.
Additionally, they challenge and support other leaders within their assigned centres and the organisation towards constant improvement.

This role provides strategic leadership in the development of inspiring, innovative and collaborative approaches in teaching, learning, and quality improvement that result in students achieving the highest possible outcomes.
They contribute to the development of, and lead the implementation of, the quality framework and the policies that govern its assurance, as well as the quality improvement strategy across their assigned centres as they seek to take the next important steps on their journey to Outstanding.
Lastly, they are responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the quality cycle are supported by effective systems, processes, and accurate data and reporting which leads to robust judgements and ultimately impacts a continually improving student experience at their assigned centres.

What do we have on offer?
Salary Scale: £42,000-£45,000 per annum (plus London weighting) Hours: Access Creative College is not your typical 9 - 5 pm role.
Whilst the contracted hours are 37.5 hrs, this will be managed flexibly across the academic year to reflect the peaks and flows in working in education.

What are we looking for?
Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience: Knowledge of the Further Education sector and its student population.
Significant experience in a quality role within a Further Education environment operating with a high degree of credibility and with significant track record of achievement and influence.
Experience in the design of quality policies and procedures.
Experience in successfully implementing quality policies and procedures.
Experience in successfully developing and improving teaching, learning and assessment across a variety of provision.
Educated to degree level, or relevant professional qualification and/or experience.
Experience of teaching across a range of levels within the FE curriculum.
Experience of successful project management.
Skills, Qualities & Abilities: Outstanding leadership and management skills with capacity to engage and motivate.
Organised, logical, and system/process centred thinking.
Strategic and creative thinking, with the proven ability to innovate and to provide leadership in a complex organisation undergoing considerable change.
Highly effective communication skills with the ability to establish effective relationships with a range of internal and external bodies.
Skills in being able to establish a high level of credibility within the academic community, professional community and with external stakeholders.
Skilled at managing by influence.
Highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate, negotiate, influence and listen.
Innovative and proactive and able to demonstrate a high degree of initiative.
