Revenue Assistant

This prestigious US law firm located in stunning offices near Chancery Lane and City Thameslink, is looking to hire a promising legal Revenue Assistant, preferably with Elite 3E experience, to join the wider Revenue and Finance teams on a permanent basis.
Salary circa £35,000Hybrid Working - 3 days office, 2 remote - Hours -  9.30am – 5.30pmChancery Lane / City Thameslink The firm are keen to hire a Revenue Assistant or Legal Biller who is comfortable coming into a busy environment and hit the ground running.
Reporting into the Revenue Manager and supporting the Revenue Controllers you will be responsible for the acting as the main point of contact for the team.
Revenue Assistant Key Responsibilities; Preparing and processing invoices and e-bills, ensuring that all bills are checked for numerical accuracy and compliance with all relevant VAT, SRA and AML guidelinesResponding to Partners across multiple practice groups in the London office, handling emails relating to all client billing issues and requests, such as, time transfers, edits, write-offs of irrecoverable time and disbursementsAssisting and arranging regular WIP and Aged Debt meetings with Fee Earners to ensure all client billing and incoming monies are being recorded and any conflicting matters are dealt with accordingly and communicated with the Revenue Team Revenue Assistant Key Requirements; Minimum 2 years' legal revenue control and/or legal billing experience working for a recognised law firmCurrent working knowledge of a legal billing system, preferably Elite 3e or Aderant, Excel and various e-billing platforms would be an advantageA strong knowledge of VAT, SRA and AML guidelines is also preferred
