We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the food and beverage operations, inspire a dynamic team, and help drive the success of this elegant and welcoming venue.
Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, restaurant, and brasserie, ensuring exceptional guest experiences across all areas.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of kitchen, bar, and front-of-house staff, fostering collaboration and high standards of service.
Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers, manage queries or complaints, and deliver expert menu and beverage recommendations to enhance their experience.
Financial Oversight: Analyse sales performance, control costs, and prepare reports to support profitability.
Manage stock levels, supplier relationships, and cash flow efficiently.
Compliance: Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards, hygiene regulations, and licensing laws.
Marketing & Events: Promote the hotel's dining options locally through events, promotions, and exceptional word-of-mouth service.
Strategic Planning: Work closely with the Assistant General Manager and Operations Director to develop innovative strategies for growing business in the restaurant, bar, and brasserie.
What We're Looking For: Proven experience in a hospitality leadership role, ideally within a hotel or multi-outlet venue.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building strong relationships with customers and staff alike.
Resilience and adaptability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Business acumen with a focus on analysing performance metrics and implementing successful strategies.
Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning and wine pairings.
Experience with restaurant management software and systems.
A meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
