Role Overview: My client is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer with a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in residential property to join their Residential Property team.
Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality legal services to the firm's clients, primarily in relation to sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties, re-mortgages, transfers, and new build transactions.
Liaise with clients, agents, and introducers regarding the progress of transactions.
Ensure that services are delivered efficiently.
Manage a personal caseload with the support of an assistant and naturally offer support to fellow team members.
Participate in business development opportunities and events.
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor (minimum 2 years PQE), Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx), or Licensed Conveyancer.
However, all candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience in Residential Property will be considered.
Expertise in key areas of law and procedure related to sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties, re-mortgages, transfers, and new build transactions.
Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision.
Strong initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Good IT skills.
Commercial and financial awareness, including the ability to take responsibility for the financial control of client matters.
Ability to develop positive relationships with clients and manage client expectations effectively.
Strong prioritisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage time efficiently.
Marketing, networking, and business development skills suitable for the role.
