Key Responsibilities: Prepare and file annual accounts for limited companies.
Calculate and submit corporate tax returns.
Utilize Xero and other accounting software to streamline tasks.
Mentor and guide junior team members.
Prepare and analyze management accounts.
Review VAT returns prepared by junior staff.
Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
Identify and address potential issues and time overruns.
Review and sign off on completed accounts.
Stay updated on industry developments through webinars and training.
Required Skills and Experience: ACA or ACCA qualification.
Substantial experience in a UK accounting firm, including statutory and management accounts, VAT, and bookkeeping (Xero and Sage).
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly CCH Accounts Production, Sage, and Xero.
