As Team Leader in this residential care home, you will work alongside the Chief Operations Officer and Registered Manager to support the efficient running of Heath Lodge.

The Role: As Team Leader within this residential care home, you will be responsible for the safeguarding and wellbeing of all residents, ensuring that personal care is provided in a way that maintains and respects their privacy, dignity, and lifestyle.
Duties include (but not limited to): Implement Care Plans from residents first day and ensure all relevant risk assessment are completed and kept up to date.
Liaise with the Catering Department about resident's dietary requirement - Update on any changes (using correct docs i.e., food fact sheet).
Support management with overall organisation of daily tasks and delegate tasks fairly and appropriately to junior staff (as directed by management).
Register Residents all on designated services as required for the resident's needs.
Report and lead in case of emergencies i.e., sudden Death, Safeguarding, Accident at Work, Complaints.
Medication Administration including monthly ordering of medications and weekly auditing of medication - including spot checking.
Support with housekeeping duties as directed by management when on night duties.
Keep up to date with developments inside the profession with special regard to 'Care of the Elderly'.
Follow safety policies and procedures in terms of Health & Safety and with other departments of the organisation.
Be aware that duties will vary depending on the needs of the service and will include being part of the 'on-call' rota.
Skills and Experience Required: A minimum of 3 years working within the care sector 2 years supervisory experience Good people skills with a caring and compassionate nature Great organisational skills, staying calm under pressure A positive, professional, and proactive approach Experience with creating care plans A confident leader A valid UK driving licence You will be aligned to the organisations Visons and Values.
