Religious Education Teacher

Full-Time Religious Education Teacher – Secondary School in Portsmouth GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join a reputable secondary school in Portsmouth.
This full-time, permanent position is set to commence in September 2025.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging RE lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
Collaborate with the RE department to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Religious Education at the secondary level is preferred; however, Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Salary: The position offers a competitive salary ranging from £31,650 to £49,084, dependent upon experience.
