DMD Partners are recruiting for their client that provides bespoke wraparound support services and intervention for children, young people, and families who have special educational needs and disabilities and/or social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Role: Seeking a compassionate, dedicated Registered Homes Manager to oversee the operation of two residential childrens homes (Oldham & Ashton Under Lyne) Lead a team of staff, ensuring the homes provide a safe, nurturing environment for young people with complex needs.
This is a hands-on role requiring both leadership and direct interaction with children when needed.
Responsibilities: Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the residential homes, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and CQC regulations.
Develop and implement individual care plans for the young people in your care.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the staff team, ensuring continuous professional development.
Ensure the homes provide a therapeutic, safe, and supportive environment that exceeds regulatory standards.
Foster strong relationships with parents, social workers, schools, and other professionals.
Ensure high standards of safeguarding and child protection, and maintain excellent communication systems within the team.
Be involved in the recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
Monitor and evaluate care delivery to ensure positive outcomes for the children in the homes.
Skills & Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Minimum of 5 years experience in residential child care, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
Experience in ensuring compliance with Ofsted (and where appropriate CQC) standards.
Full UK driving license.
Ability to adapt to challenging situations with resilience and determination.
