Regional Broiler Farm Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Regional Broiler Farm Manager to join our team and provide overall responsibility for the live operations & farms teams who oversee the production of Broiler Farm chickens for processing at the Company's processing facilities in Anwick & Ashbourne.Reporting to Head of Broiler Operations UK the responsibilities will include all aspects of husbandry, ensuring all stock produced is of the highest possible standard and meets the required specification in terms of weight, quality, health & safety, welfare, etc.
Encompassing commercial and financial aspects of the farming operations, which involves budgetary control for department of both employees, material resources, and where appropriate, the management and supervision of Area Broiler Farm Managers.The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, will be a sound decision maker, who can work autonomously.
Ideally have senior leadership and people management skills and will be able to coordinate the work of other individuals to ensure the continuous working of each farm.
You will manage, motivate and control the activities of staff through a positive communicative management style.
You will also be responsible for all employees under direct control for health & safety, welfare, induction training and regular development through progress reviews.The successful candidate will have a full understanding of poultry and 'live' Welfare as a Condition in all that they do.
You will Ensure all complaints or queries received are handled promptly and professionally.We support and encourage our employees to continue to develop their skills, so you will have the opportunity to grow.
Your responsibility will be to also monitor and control any negative environmental impact arising from the processes; ensuring that all direct reports and colleagues are briefed and clear in regards to their responsibilities.Skills we require:•  People Management skills•  Demonstrable leadership skills•  Sound decision maker•  Excellent communication skills•  Previous involvement in field•  Budget Management•  Full drivers license
