Hales Group are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join their team in Bury St Edmunds.
This role would be dealing with "temporary" recruitment covering a commercial/office sector desk.
Recruitment industry experience is preferred however previous success in a customer-facing sales role would be considered.
This Recruitment Consultant role could also suit someone who holds experience within sales and administration or a similar field, looking to use this knowledge within a recruitment / sales role, providing they can also demonstrate the right combination of skills and personal qualities.
You must also enjoy working in a high-pressure environment and the responsibility that comes with it.
The role can be challenging, but also exciting as the profession is fast-paced and target driven.
Work is predominantly office based but time is also spent outside the office, meeting with clients and interviewing candidates, therefore access to your own transport and own license is essential.
Recruitment Consultants act as the vital link between clients and candidates and therefore need great people skills.
* You'll use sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from client companies; build positive relationships to gain a better understanding of their industry, what they do, their work culture, environment and their recruitment needs.
* You'll use social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and then screen candidates, interview them, run background checks and finally match them to clients.
* You'll organise interviews for candidates and inform them about the results of the interviews.
* You'll negotiate salaries and finalise arrangements between clients and candidates and provide advice where needed.
