Job summary The Essex and Suffolk Elective Orthopaedic Centre at Colchester Hospital is one of the largest centres of its kind in Europe.
Delivering high volume and low complexity cases locally for the people we serve across our region.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Recovery Support Workers to join our orthopaedic team.
Alongside your duties of a Recovery Support Worker, you will also support other colleagues who are working within the centre.

The Dame Clare Marx Building houses our elective orthopaedic centre (ESEOC) with a focus on elective orthopaedic surgery and day cases.
The centre has eight laminar flow theatres, three wards, recovery facilities, and support services including radiology and EBME.
Please note, the shift patterns will be Monday to Saturday 10am-7pm Main duties of the job To contribute in supporting nursing staff in the care of patients under the direction of registered members of the clinical team To provide support and assistance within the Recovery teams.
