The Role
Realise are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant Trainer for our Blackpool hub.
Your focus will be to support learners to reach their goals and complete their qualifications.
As the first point of contact for your learners, you will provide the support they need to flourish through their learning journey with Realise.
Whilst we can't promise that every day will be the same, your key responsibilities are likely to be:
- Supporting a caseload of learners across your region, face to face and remotely.
- Delivering a range of award-winning adult education qualifications.
- Coming up with appropriate solutions for your learners, to ensure that they have the best experience possible and develop their interest and career.
- Utilising an e-portfolio system to effectively manage the learner journey.

About You - A Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistant, or equivalent is essential.
- Significant occupational competency in a school setting
- An assessing qualification (e.g., TAQA/A1/D32/33,CAVA) would be advantageous
- A teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS) would be advantageous
- Experience in building and managing your own caseload.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- IT competent with working knowledge of Microsoft Office

- You can expect a one-stage interview process for this position, which will compromise of: a one-hour formal interview, likely on Teams, where we will ask you to prepare and deliver a short microteach, shortly followed by competency and behavioural questions.
