Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Blackpool, Lancashire, North West England Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £12.90 - £14.00 Per Hour Job Duties: Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development Assisting teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons for SEN students Providing individualised support to students who require extra assistance Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment Assisting with administrative tasks related to SEN support Required Qualifications: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN Strong communication and interpersonal skills Effective team player Education: GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different types of SEN and appropriate support strategies Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Knowledge of relevant safeguarding procedures Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Additional training in SEN support Working Conditions: Work primarily takes place within a school setting Full-time hours, Monday to Friday Potential for occasional additional hours or activities outside normal school hours All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
