The Transformation Office Project Director is part of the Group's transformation office, which is leading and orchestrating a significant organisation-wide transformation.
The Transformation Project Director will be part of the transformation office senior leadership team with a specific focus on providing leadership, coaching and support to key projects and initiatives that require additional focus, or where there are capacity/capability gaps in the group's overall transformation programme.
This is a pivotal new role requiring proven commercial transformation experience which may well have been gained within a leading consultancy, or within an organisation's transformation office.
This person will work with senior leaders, including executive committee members, and the wider transformation leadership team.
What you'll be doing:Provide leadership, coaching and direction to project managers, leaders and teams.Lead and coach projects to:Develop and implement project strategies that align with organisational objectives.Define scope, KPIs, budgets and outcomes aligned to the overall transformation effort.Build and run effective teams.Deliver on time, quality and budget.Oversee the impact of transformation effort on teams across the business.Identify issues, work with projects to solve problems and clear roadblocks before they detract from delivery.Work as part of the transformation office senior team to lead, orchestrate and amplify results across the group-wide transformation effort.Who we're looking for:Previous transformation office experience preferred.A highly credible and responsible leader who generates respect across the organisation.Excellent project/change management skills.Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.Exceptional interpersonal skills, able to influence and build relationships at all levels.Strong understanding of process management principles, methodologies and tools.Critical thinking with the ability to see the big picture and translate into actionable plans.In-depth understanding of SJP's business model and strategy.Thorough understanding of SJP's Partnership and clients.Understanding of the regulations relevant to SJP business and how they impact strategy and planning.An understanding of the UK wealth management market, as well as other relevant global markets.Strong facilitation skills and personal resilience.Delivers successfully in a changing and complex environment.What's in it for you?
