RAN Transport Network ExpertContract role Inside IR35£580 per day6mths contract The Opportunity This is your opportunity to join one of the UKs major mobile network operators as they build the future of Radio networks Working with the Head of Mobile Network Architecture, your role will be as a Transport Network subject matter expert.
You will be key contributor to the development of the 3- and 5-year RAN strategy plans This is a hybrid opportunity, but 1-2 days in Reading will be expected each week.
Day to day You will work on; Defining the key requirements for the Transport Network RFI/RFPsEvaluating the responses of vendors in detailIdentifying the gaps and strengthsChallenging and propose amendments to Radio's current plans and thinkingWork closely with vendors, review technical specifications and documentsKey point of contact for providing expert support for internal high level stakeholders Your background: This role has a strong blend of technical and commercial skills.
You will have subject matter expert level of experience on Transport and Transmission Network technologies and the vendor ecosystem You will have held a senior role that involves strong experience of supporting RFx activities.
Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex technical ideas and concepts appropriately to audiences of varying technical background.
