Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor required in Hertfordshire GVR Solutions are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor of all levels to join a well-established drylining contractor based in Hertfordshire.
This particular client specialise in suspended ceilings, plastering and SFS projects across the Commercial, Residential, Healthcare and Educational sector plus more.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will: * Be reporting to the Senior Surveyor/Commercial Manager * Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies * Ensure the commercial targets are achieved including project and programme cost, quality and time.
* Managing the costs of the project, budgeting, and cash flows * Carry out measurement for valuations * Analyse progress and reporting * Identify Opportunities and risks * Attend post tender and pre-contract meetings.
* Prepare summary reports for the client and other stakeholders The Quantity Surveyor must have/be: * A degree in Quantity Surveying or construction related * Experience working for a well-established main contractor * 5 – 10 years Quantity Surveying experience * Experience working on Fit out and refurbishment projects * Excellent analytical skills to make informed, balanced business decision and reporting * Proven track record of delivering construction projects * Excellent communication and oral skills * Stable employment history * High-performing individual * Versatile * Excellent time keeping skills If you match the requirements and are interested in the position, then please get in touch
