Job Summary: Elevation are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our client's dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our client's projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor: Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
Contract Administration: Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and financial obligations.
Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks related to project costs and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on project costs, progress, and forecasts to management and clients.
Skills and qualifications of the Quantity Surveyor: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying.
2+ years of experience in quantity surveying or cost management.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
