In our Forensic Services Department, we are looking for a Quality Officer.
Forensic Services is a diverse department providing a broad range of services to support investigations at crime and incident scenes.
What you'll do Maintain quality management system frameworks to ensure compliance with the Forensic Science Regulator's Code of Practice and International Organisation of Standardisation (ISO) forensic quality standards.
Provide guidance and advice on matters related to forensic quality and accreditation systems.
Attend quality meetings, identifying non-compliance issues and recommending improvements.
Produce and control quality management system policies and procedures.
Maintain audit systems and schedules; undertake audits in quality standards and technical areas.
What you'll bring Excellent knowledge of the principles of quality standards.
Experience of working in an environment where quality standards are operational.
Ability to plan effectively and manage tasks.
Demonstrable experience of information gathering and problem solving.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence.
