Quality Assurance Technician

We're working with a leading food manufacturer based in Leeds to recruit an experienced QA Technician .
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established team within a well-regarded company.

The Role: As a QA Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring all products meet the required food safety, quality, and customer specifications.

On Offer: £29,670 Monday – Friday – 40 hours per week 4 weeks working 6am – 2:30pm 1 week working 10pm - 6:30am 33 days annual leave Key Responsibilities: Supporting the production of safe, high-quality, and legally compliant food products.
Conducting facility audits, including hygiene, GMP, and compliance checks.
Preparing accurate documentation and launch packs for new product launches.
Investigating customer complaints to identify root causes and implement preventative actions.
Coordinating sample testing and analysing lab results, escalating issues as needed.
Managing out-of-specification stock using the warehouse management system.
Conducting swabbing activities and supporting validation/verification processes.
Reviewing and approving packaging against artwork specifications.
Assisting during third-party audits and traceability exercises.
What We're Looking For: Proven experience in a QA role within the food manufacturing industry.
Food Safety and HACCP qualifications (Level 3 preferred).
Strong decision-making skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
