Job Title: Social Worker (Children)Location: BarnsleyWorking Hours: HybridRate: £35 per hourLiquid Personnel are currently recruiting for a registered and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join a busy team in Barnsley, based within the Child Protection Team.Responsibilities:You will provide assessment, care management and social work services to children and their families, arising out of the council's duties and powers under legislation, Council and Group policy.
As a Qualified Social Worker, your primary responsibilities will include promoting and modeling effective working arrangements with mental health services and other voluntary and community partners to support care-experienced young people.
You will develop a good understanding of evidence-based practice and integrate models of best practice into day-to-day service delivery.
Participation in clinical supervision, clinical risk assessing, and liaising with mental health services across different boroughs/areas will be essential.
