About Inductosense: Inductosense is a UK-based company that designs and manufactures ultrasonic sensor technologies for internal corrosion and erosion monitoring.
You will join our team of industry experts, including engineers and academics, who have successfully trialled and deployed the Inductosense WAND technology with major operators across the world.
The WAND technology is an embeddable corrosion monitoring system that enables accurate, repeatable measurements and digitised data.
Our solution enables customers to reduce costs associated with inspection and digitise their wall thickness measurements.
Job Overview: We are looking for a driven QHSE Manager to lead efforts in enhancing customer satisfaction with our products and to strengthen our culture of quality assurance and policy.
The ideal candidate will collaborate across the organisation to oversee quality assurance, streamline, and standardise business processes, and drive continuous improvement in QHSE performance and business outcomes.
This role involves ensuring that processes are accurate, well-documented, actively utilized, and continuously improved, all while promoting compliance and elevating customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities: Quality Excellence, Continuous Improvement and Safety · Governance of our Integrated Quality Management system · Interfacing with industry regulatory and notified bodies as necessary on ISO9001, ATEX, IECEx et c. related certifications and accre ditations and managing the related audits · Management of our Internal and supplier Audit schedule.
Hosting external third-party audits · Review of Critical Suppliers including necessary Supplier Audits · Streamlining key internal processes, stakeholder engagement and management · Provide ongoing access to a user-friendly document management repository that manages business process and policy procedures; assuring up-to-date and accurate ways of working are detailed and recorded · Lead the development, agreement and communication of the annual assurance plan based on past performance, learning and business risk · Drive and facilitate cross-functional teams in executing process improvement projects, including data collection, analysis, and the implementation of continuous improvement tools and methods · Analyse and interpret product and service data to identify performance gaps, root causes, and opportunities for improvement, ensuring that decisions are data led based on defined Key Performance Indicators · Maintain Quality Assurance and associated customer satisfaction dashboards · Define ongoing QHSE objectives and targets providing frequent status updates · Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations both internally and on 3 rd party sites · Managing and monitoring emergency procedures: Fire, signage, PPE, COSHH control, accident investigation and reporting, etc.
· Lead cross departmental root cause analysis of product, process and customer service issues identified · Oversight of risk assessments both internally and for on-site work · Lead on health & safety, promote across company - ensuring staff are trained in H&S · Provide Quality Assurance Training, Toolbox talks and Quality Memo's.
· Lead ATEX, UL, and IECEx certification for products including; Co-ordination of activities with respect to hazardous area products Liaison with Notified body/IECEx CB re.
design changes and quality system changes Informing customers of safe use conditions Reviewing changes that affect Ex documents Customer Satisfaction · Manage and report on customer satisfaction for the manufacturing and use of WAND ultrasonic sensors · Ownership of customer feedback process and associated customer success metrics: representing the voice of customer throughout, influencing team responsiveness to issues raised, and overseeing the response · Drive our 'Zero Harm' and 'Right first time' initiative with robust Quality assurance coaching, support, governance, and challenge · Run Customer Satisfaction and Quality related processes (Issue to Prevention) · Contribute to improving customer satisfaction by achieving quality goals by defining, implementing and managing action plans Requirements: · Formal qualification in Lean Manufacturing and methodology, Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5s etc.
· Member of Chartered Quality Institute or relevant time served proven experience.
· NEBOSH qualified or similar Health and Safety qualification · IRCA Certified to ISO 9001:2015 Auditor · Experience of ATEX certification requirements · Familiarity with COSHH and hazardous material control · Good level of English, both written and spoken · Knowledge of the oil, gas and offshore industry desired but not essential · Excellent communication and influencing skills with all levels of stakeholders · A resilient and positive outlook with the ability to inspire confidence and adapt to change · Able to travel to our Bristol office · Right to work in UK We offer a competitive salary package, including performance-based bonuses and the opportunity to make a significant impact on a growing company in a thriving industry.
