Park Recruit are delighted to be working exclusively with our client, a highly reputable and growing manufacturing client in Mid Ulster, in the appointment of a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team.
With a strong growth trajectory, my client is focused on building core functions within the business, and this will be a key role in ensuring internal processes meet the companys high standards and comply with ISO 9001 accreditation.
This role will involve managing and improving quality processes across the business, including handling non-conformances and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing quality inspections, audits, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations, particularly in the design and manufacture of electrical products.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee maintenance and improvement of the ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System.
Lead internal/external audits and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
Manage non-conformance identification, investigation, and resolution.
Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Drive continuous improvement to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Liaise with production and design teams to integrate quality standards.
Analyse quality data to identify improvement opportunities.
Oversee quality control inspections for materials and products.
Ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements.
Lead the QA team, providing guidance and support.
Ensure suppliers meet quality standards and manage supplier audits.
Address customer complaints and ensure clear communication.
Maintain quality documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
Key Qualifications: Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the electrical switchgear or control panel industry.
Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems is essential.
Proven track record of managing non-conformances and leading successful corrective action processes.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire a quality-driven culture.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail in identifying and resolving quality issues.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Ability to manage audits, quality reviews, and compliance requirements in a fast-paced environment.
