Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) has an ambitious Internationalisation Strategy, focusing on strong, International Recruitment, Transnational Education Partnerships, and Student Mobility.
The Global Opportunities Team is seeking to appoint a Project Administration and Social Media Assistant to provide support to the UK-Malaysia University Consortium, a British Council funded project to promote mutual understanding on a global scale by expanding international higher education in teaching, research, mobility and knowledge exchange between the UK and Malaysia.
You will provide administrative support for the project and support the operational delivery of an effective social media engagement strategy, creating an effective communication tool for consortium members and raising the profile and awareness of the Consortium on an international scale.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, liaising with the Consortium members and internal and external stakeholders in both the UK and Malaysia.
Experience of working with social media management tools and experience of creating communications plans is desirable but not essential.
