Bath & North East Somerset Council is seeking a dynamic and experienced Programme Manager to lead our SEND Capital Programme, with a budget of approximately £15M.
Key Responsibilities: Programme Leadership: Oversee the management and delivery of the SEND Capital Programme, ensuring effective deployment of capital across various projects.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Schools Capital Organisation Team, SEND Team Management, and School Trusts.
Project Management: Implement robust programme, project, and risk management processes to ensure successful project outcomes.
Sufficiency: To support the Head of Education to ensure we have the right number of education places for CYP with SEND, in the right type of provision, delivering value for money and in the right location, now and in the future within B&NES.
Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the Bath & N E Somerset Parent Carer Forum.
Reporting: Provide regular updates on project delivery and progress to the Head of Education Commissioning and other key partners.
