Job DescriptionJob Title: Production Support ManagerLocation: Aberdeen Salary: Competitive with Bonus + Car/Allowance Main Purpose of RoleLead the delivery of Production Support Services from Aberdeen and business development to maximise revenue and profit whilst maintaining high standards of integrity, quality, safety and staff wellbeing.
Lead the Deliver consistently high standards of analytical performance to ensure the that company quality, health and safety protocols are adhered to while achieving commercial objectives nd continued operation of platform laboratory.Key AccountabilitiesPersonnel Management:Deploy motivated, competent staff to meet high standards in service, quality, and safety.Ensure the out-of-hours on-call system is manned via the app.Client Relationship Management:Act as a Key Account Manager for client contracts, maintaining effective client relationships and ensuring contracts remain profitable through rate reviews.Compliance:Ensure work complies with client-specific instructions and relevant industry standards.Financial Oversight:Oversee the departmental P&L (Profit and Loss), manage net working capital, drive business growth, ensure customer care, and manage staff development.Training Delivery:Design and deliver Production Chemistry training courses for internal and external participants.Business Development:Collaborate with the location management and UK Sales Team to identify and develop new business opportunities and nurture existing client relationships.Stay informed of local market trends to explore new business avenues and enhance capabilities to meet client needs.Team Development:Coach and develop the local team to meet defined objectives, ensuring efficient use of resources, and operational capacity to meet client demands.Operational Involvement:Perform Production Chemistry tasks on client sites, both onshore and offshore, as required.QualificationsEssential:Degree level of a science-related subject or equivalent work experienceFull, valid UK driving license.BOSIET/MIST/MedicalOffshore Production Chemistry experienceProficient use of Microsoft packagesDesirable:Previous Manpower Management experienceExperience delivering training courses
