IKM Testing in Aberdeen are recruiting a Flowline Technician to join our Workshop department in Westhill.

Overview To provide effective maintenance services to all IKM flowline equipment to include Treating Iron and Flanged crossovers, keep up-to-date service records and liaise with Certification Team on all matters regarding certification.
Roles and Responsibilities Participate in Workshop daily Tool Box Talks.
Ensure all equipment requested is allocated and prepared for operational jobs in line with load out requirements in a timely manner.
Ensure any defects reported from jobs are investigated and rectified to prevent re-occurrence.
Ensure housekeeping is maintained to a high standard to improve efficiency and safety at all times.
Ensure all equipment is stored in designated areas of the workshop/yard.
Ensure that IKM's Status Label System is used at all times and equipment is kept clean and tidy at all times.
Liaise with stores to ensure there are spare parts within the store to cover routine maintenance of all Flowline equipment.
Carry out inspection, maintenance and Pressure Testing of all Flowline equipment, maintaining to the highest standard.
Save all successful pressure tests accordingly to the dropbox system or save location as assigned by Certification Team.
To complete the inspection records and liase with the Maintenance Foreman on pressure vessel works and iron belonging to maintenance team/equipment.
To keep the flow iron register updated with flow iron maintenance records and original certification or to a save location as assigned by Certification Team.
Be proactive with flowline equipment management.
Assist and work closely with the Mobilisation Team regarding allocation of Flowline equipment for Mobilisations.
Perform other duties which may be required as directed by your Line Manager.
Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with any and all Company Policies, protocols, procedures, risk assessments and systems.
Travel to any location as required.
Keep all service records up to date in Smartsheet.
Work closely and liaise with the Certification Team.
Report any unsafe acts or issues found, use the CPI lite system and notify line manager of any defects prior to quarantine of items.
Proactively generate departmental or company-wide improvement ideas and log within the Workshop Dept Improvement Idea Tracker.
Qualifications Full Driving Licence Experience Required Essential: Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role, which may include heavy lifting.
Must have previous experience working on flow iron.
Must have pressure testing and inspection experience.
Preferred: A background in the Oil and Gas industry.
Computer literacy - Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
